Krishak Pathshala – Farmer Field Schools
About The Project
Krishak Pathshala is a community-based farmer training model that promotes practical, season long learning directly in agricultural fields. Farmers learn by doing—improving productivity, sustainability, and decision-making skills.
Objectives
The aim is to transfer knowledge on crop management, organic farming, pest control, and climate-resilient agriculture. It fosters innovation, local adaptation, and reduces reliance on traditional, low-yield practices.
Our Role
Our NGO organized field sessions with agri-experts, demonstrated techniques, and distributed IEC materials. We supported smallholder farmers, particularly women and SC/ST cultivators, to apply modern methods on their land.
ATMA – Agricultural Technology Management Agency
About The Project
ATMA is a government initiative under the Department of Agriculture that strengthens extension services by integrating research, farmer feedback, and modern practices. It supports decentralized planning and training at the district level.
Objectives
The aim is to disseminate advanced agricultural techniques, promote agri-entrepreneurship, and increase farmer income through diversification, resource management, and technology adoption.
Our Role
We partnered with ATMA to conduct farmer trainings, demonstrations, and exposure visits. Our team facilitated sessions on crop rotation, IPM, water conservation, and linked farmers with KVKs and agri-input providers.
